A first week at college

Outfit from Saturday
Expectations are most of the time wrong. Nothing is as good or as bad as it seems. My first week as a college student was better than expected, but the work and projects bigger and more difficult than expected.

The good points
- I feel at my place
- I can easily talk to people
- Teachers are nice
- There is a lot of people with cool hairstyles and looks
- I have friends studying there
- All my classes interest me a lot
- The equipment and places are heaven compared to high school
- I can listen to music while working in some classes

The bad points
- Materials are expensive
- My schedule is really full and makes me tired
- We are going to do A LOT of homeworks
- Sharing a locker
- The school is far from my home ( 1h to get there)

To celebrate this first week, the school organized a little party on Wednesday, between 12h and 2h. We had free food and music.
Jiji on Wednesday

On Friday after school, I went to china town with some of the rainbow-team members and two friends from school. We had Chinese diner , bubble tea and made purikura.

Finally, on Saturday , to say goodbye to Haru, a friend from France, we went together trifling and we also ate cupcakes. Sadly, as I have to save my money for school I couldn't get new clothes but I had a lot of fun!

Bento box!

In high school I used to only get salad and fruits for lunch, because I was kind of lazy and my school was close to my home so I could arrive home after school and eat whatever I wanted. But now, I'm going to spend most of my day in college, arrive early in the morning and get home late in the afternoon. In order to don't starve myself I decided to get a bento box and look for some easy and healty recipes.

The box!
I decided to go for a kit that has already everything. For 15$ I got : The bento box, a spon, a tote bag (I prefer using my luch box but it is good to have it) , a thermos for water , a little napkin and a small container to put extra food( I'm going to use it for dessert.).

The food and the look!

I like to cook, but I'm not an expert chef and I'll not have a lot of time during college, so I decided to go for something easy and fast to do. I made Japanese octopus sausage because it's a bento must, wanna be korean pancakes (the recipe) and a salad. For dessert my mother baked star shaped green cookies.

Being realistic, bento doesn't always has to look cute unless it is for a special occacion and you enjoy doing it. For now, I don't have any special supplies, but play-doo molds can do the work.

The surprise!!

I like to eat with chopsticks, but my bento only came with a spon so I got to buy a pair somewhere else. I found a super adorable pair for 2$ in a chinese store next to the school supplies. How weird rigth? Guess what? They are actually a pen too!! I was soo impressed when I discovered it! I could eat and do homework at the same time with the same tool.

You are too young to live a life you don't want. Otakuthon 2011

If you aren't living the life of your dreams, hurry up and get it!

I'm young, I have regrets, I make mistakes, I hurt people and they hurt me back, I mess up things, I fail, but I'm living the way I want to. I'm who I want to be. I'm proud of my talents and flaws.
